Susan Rebecca Vance grew up in Scotland and has always had a love for dance, taking her first dance lesson at the age of just three. She progressed from there, broadening her dance knowledge and experience studying Ballet, Jazz and Tap at the Central Scotland Ballet School and with Ballet West Associates.

At age 18 Susan started her professional training going on to complete her Degree in Dance at the Performing Arts Studio Scotland.

Upon completion of her degree she took up her first professional contract on the Greek Island of Rhodes, working as part of the hotel entertainment team and performing in hotel shows. From there she worked on a number of contracts performing in Crete and throughout the UK before joining DoPortugal Circus.

Susan has toured with DoPortugal Circus throughout North and Central America as Choreographer, Aerialist, Dancer and Quick Change Artist. The tours have taken her to Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and Costa Rica, and most recently to the United States of America.
